I did it; I finally did it! I added my very first cake plate to my collection. I found it today at a thrift shop. It's not exactly like the one I saw the other day but still very worthy of having it. I can't wait to use the great bunch of rhubarb I got today; whip up a fantastic cake and put it to good use!
Glad you got your first cake plate! Fenton has beautiful footed cake plates with a ruffle around the edge. I haven't got one yet, tho, they are a little pricey. But they are beautiful! On my site the cake plate that I have can be turned upside down and used for a vase. I thought that was kind of neat.
